Jennifer Schweder is a former federal Railway Safety Inspector and SMS audit specialist, with over a decade of direct experience as an operator and as a regulator working with Safety Management Systems. Jenn also has over 30 years of experience working on regulatory compliance in a variety of domains related to transportation in Canada.
Having left the federal government in 2026, Jenn is now offering her expertise as a consultant to Canadian railways and local railway companies under federal oversight, as well as to industrial/provincial railways with various SMS obligations under their respective jurisdictions.
